Ferrets (groups of eight) were anaesthetized with ketamine (25 mg kg21), xylazine (2 mg kg21) and atropine (0.05 mg kg21). 26109 p.f.u. of the Ad5 virus stock (Ad-Ctrl) i.n.Ferrets were anaesthetized as above and challenged with 106 p.f.u. SARS-CoV Tor2 in 0.5 ml PBS i.n. at 7 weeks from the initial immunization. |
